SMP Aftercare in Hot, Humid Weather

Quick answer: After SMP, follow your provider’s aftercare closely: typically avoid heavy sweating, swimming, saunas and strong sun on the scalp for the period they advise, keep the scalp clean and gentle, and wear a loose hat or seek shade. In Malaysia’s heat, plan sessions around your exercise and outdoor activities.
Sweat
Heavy sweating soon after a session can affect healing; plan exercise breaks.
Sun
Sun exposure can fade pigment over time. Protect the scalp outdoors.
Washing
Follow instructions on when and how to wash. More at SMP Kuala Lumpur.
