Dr. M Two-Step Routine: Shampoo First, Tonic Second

Quick answer: Use Dr. M Hokkaido Kelp Shampoo first to cleanse the scalp, rinse and towel-dry, then apply Dr. M Hydrolyzed Protein Hair Tonic to the scalp and leave it in. Each bottle has one job: rinse-off cleansing, then a leave-in scalp step. RRP: shampoo RM139, tonic RM139.
Step 1: wash
Apply the shampoo to wet hair and scalp, massage through a 2–3 minute wash, rinse thoroughly and towel-dry. Use a cool or medium dryer setting if needed.
Step 2: leave-in tonic
Part the hair, apply the tonic to the scalp, massage for 2–3 minutes and leave it in. Keep the tonic where you towel-dry so the step is not forgotten. Dr. M explains the order on its official site.
Adding Folli-Doc care
If you have thinning that worries you, a cosmetic routine is only part of the picture. A free consultation and AI scan at Folli-Doc can show what is happening on your scalp and whether Simulation & Stimulation, SMP or a hair transplant is worth discussing.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use only the shampoo?
Yes. You can start with the shampoo alone and add the tonic later.
Do I need conditioner?
If you use one, keep it on the mid-lengths and ends rather than the scalp.
Is this a hair loss treatment?
No. Dr. M is a cosmetic hair-care routine. If your scalp is sore, very itchy, red or flaking heavily, or hair loss is sudden or patchy, see a doctor or dermatologist first.
