A confusing routine, with too many products changed too often, makes it impossible to know what helps.

This guide explains how to think about a Folli-Doc home routine. It deliberately does not tell you which product to use, because that should come from your own scalp assessment.

Step 1: start with an assessment

The first step of the Folli-Doc process is a digital scalp analysis that maps thinning zones and density, checks the condition of your scalp and existing hair, and leads to a personalised plan. Your home routine should come from the same conversation. Bring any products you already use, and mention any medicines or treatments from your doctor.

Step 3: build the routine around your day

• What should I do in hot, humid weather, after the gym or under a helmet or headscarf?

Step 4: fit the routine around in-centre treatment

If you are using any medical treatment on your scalp, ask your doctor or pharmacist before combining it with a roller.
